KAMLOOPS- Resurrection Fashion Show and Black Tie Gala
Time & Location
About The Event
This year we are holding a Gala Fashion Show to raise funds and awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). We will be serving traditional First Nations dishes from the Secwepemc people, prepared by the culinary staff of the Thompson Rivers University (TRU).
Tickets are $120.00 per person with all proceeds going to The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) which is an organization that provides support to organizations that work directly with the families of the missing and murdered. The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) is founded on the collective goal to enhance, promote, and foster the social, economic, cultural and political well-being of First Nations, Métis and Inuit women. NWAC is an aggregate of thirteen Native women’s organizations from across Canada and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1974. They are the beneficiaries of the proceeds from this Gala, with funds to be earmarked for MMIWG.
